They fought so hard with their backs against the wall. A true example of the character that the country needs to tackle any adversity we may encounter. Now they get a chance to play more big games in the semifinals of the Nations League and the Copa America, which will in turn, help to pull them together for the World Cup Qualifiers next year.” This is Jamaica’s first entry to the semifinals of the Concacaf Nations League and the third time they will play in the prestigious Copa America. This was Jamaica’s first win ever over Canada in Canada and Jamaica’s third ever victory over a North American team on North American Soil.
Also, it was the first time Jamaica were registering three goals against a North American team on North American Soil.
