The Jamaica Football Federation will be hosting the annual mandatory FIFA/MA Referee Course from July 26-30, 2023, and the media is invited to provide coverage of the opening ceremony on July 26 at 12:30pm at the JFF Office in New Kingston. The Course is for FIFA Referees and other top Panel Referees to a maximum of thirty. It will highlight changes in the Laws of the Game and other developments to equip the referees for success at the highest level.
Mr. Javier Santos, FIFA Referee Development Officer, Joe Audi, FIFA Technical Instructor and Jamaican CONCACAF/MA Fitness Instructor, Mr. Rohan Thobourne will be in charge, assisted by our local Instructors.
The mandatory Referee fitness test will be at 6:30am on July 26, 2023, at the Usain Bolt Track, while the referees will have fitness training at the UWI/Captain Horace Burrell Centre of Excellence at 6:30am. All classroom sessions will be at the JFF.
The media will be allowed to take some footage of the training and classroom sessions.
