Royal Lakes FC and RANGERS FC, who both withdrew from the Jamaica Womens’s Premier League on Friday, were found to be in breach of Article 7.2 of the 2023-24 JWPL. Regulations.
Art. 7
Withdrawals, which are notified less than ten (72) hours before the opening date of the competition will attract a fine of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) and forfeiture of entry fees (if applicable).
Therefore, in keeping with the above-mentioned article, Royale Lakes FC and Rangers FC have been fined Fifty Thousand Dollars to be paid by 17 March 2024.
