Today after hearing submission by our Attorneys-at-law Mrs. Kaysian Kennedy-Sherman and Ms. Danique Gooden both of TWP Attorneys, the court denied the application for the continuation of the temporary injunction on the election of the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF), on the basis that the applicant (Patricia Garel and Beach Soccer Jamaica), did not establish that they are an affiliate or member of the JFF and as such there is no serious issue to be tried by the court.
This has been the position of the JFF, and we are pleased that the way is now cleared for us to set the new election date, which will be determined by the Board.
The JFF thanks its members for their patience in this matter and we look forward to resuming the normal business of Congress under the constitution and focus on football development for Jamaica.
